Only a good place to walk if you don't have a dog

点评：I struggle a bit with this place, I have tried to like and enjoy it but as a dog owner I find it hugely frustrating and henceforth will avoid it and the disappointment I feel every time I go. It looks as if it should be a stunning place to walk with your dog, there are views to be had and it is quite wild in places, but the trouble is that the moment you arrive you are told you must put your dog on a lead as you cross the picnic green in front of the hills and dales, and then very shortly after you have navigated the picnic area you are told cattle are out and you must put your dog on a lead for the rest of the walk. I daresay there may be some places where this does not apply but I haven't found them and my dog does not appreciate being on the end of a lead all the time, it defeats the object of getting out into the countryside. So, if you DON'T have a dog it is probably quite enjoyable, but if you do I would advise you to find some public footpaths elsewhere for a decent walk - I certainly will be doing that from now on.
