The cost of ‘Backwater Club’ houseboat is *JUST NOT WORTH IT. They charged us 16k for one room, we would have got a better experience in any other houseboat with same facilities at a *much cheaper price.**
Feedback of the boat -
1. The boat and the room were *not what was shown* in the pictures while booking.
2. The *towels looked used and dirty* with dark spots on it. We asked the boat caretaker to change but he said he doesn’t have a new one.
3. The *bathroom shower was broken* and there was no water in the tap.
4. The *curtains on the bed were dirty* and hanging without the curtain rings.
5. The *candlelight dinner* highlighted as ‘Free Inclusions’ while booking the houseboat was a *farce*. Two small candles were lit on an old rusted small candle stand. No cover was put on the dining table.
6. The free inclusions mentioned in their package are provided by all houseboats, nothing special.
