Unforgettable Day in Walvis Bay – Perfectly Organized Private Tour by visiting Namibia with a Cruise Ship

点评：We arrived in Walvis Bay with Mein Schiff 6 and had booked our private day tour directly with Carlos Shuttle & Tours by email.
Communication was smooth, quick, and everything was exactly as agreed.
We paid 50 % by credit card in advance and the remaining 50 % on site at Carlos’ office – also by credit card. The pickup at the cruise terminal was right on time.
Our German-speaking guide Sten was fantastic – friendly, very knowledgeable, and full of great stories.
The route was stunning:
Dune 7,
the breathtaking Moon Landscape,
the ancient Welwitschia mirabilis,
and finally the beautiful Goanikontes Oasis, where we enjoyed a fantastic lunch on Sten’s recommendation.
The oasis was a real highlight – peaceful, scenic, and the perfect spot to relax in the middle of the desert.
After lunch, we continued to Swakopmund, where we had some time to stroll through the charming town, visit the jetty, and soak up the coastal atmosphere before returning to the ship.
Everything ran smoothly, the driver was careful, and we always felt in good hands.
We were a group of four people – a private tour, fair price, no rush, no crowds, just a perfect day in Namibia.
