点评：I got to experience Triona in Donegal as part of my Irish Adventure tour run by CIE Tours (you can read my review of the amazing Irish Adventure tour on CIE’s TripAdvisor page). I am so delighted that I got to visit Triona.
In the charming town of Donegal, we were treated to a live hand-weaving demonstration on a 200+ year old loom, showcasing how Triona’s beautiful tweed is made. Watching the craftsmanship up close gave me a whole new appreciation for the skill and time that goes into each piece.
To make the experience even better, we were served Irish coffees during the demonstration… and they were, without a doubt, the most delicious ones we had during our entire 9-day trip in Ireland!
The finished products (tweed, knitwear, and jewelry) were absolutely gorgeous and timeless in style. While many of the items were a bit outside our price range, it was still a fun and memorable experience to browse and learn about the tradition behind them.
A wonderful stop that blends Irish heritage, craftsmanship, and a little indulgence.
