点评：This beach is lovely. After reading the reviews, we decided to arrive early, before 10am, and it was definitely worth it. Parking was easy (don’t forget to pay), and there were plenty of sunbeds available — €11 for two sunbeds and a parasol. However, by around 11:30am, the beach had become much busier.
The facilities are good, with toilets, a beach shower and a small café.
The sea is clear and wonderfully cool. It can look slightly dirty or dark from the shore, but don’t be put off by this. Madeira is a volcanic island, and the beaches are made up of dark volcanic rock, fine volcanic particles can give the shallow water a slightly black, It’s a natural feature of Madeira’s volcanic coastline rather than pollution or dirty water. Once you’re in the water, it’s actually very clear.
Overall, a lovely place to spend a few hours or a whole day, especially if you arrive early before it gets busy.
