点评:I attended Creamfields on the 28th and 29th of August and, to start with the positives, the music and performers were incredible. I really enjoyed sets from Calvin Harris and Duke Dumont. However, when we went to watch Duke Dumont, the crowd became extremely packed and uncomfortable. I was surprised that such a major headliner was put on the APEX stage because it is such a small area. We were stood right at the back and after about thirty minutes, the pushing and cramming became too much, so we decided to leave.
Trying to get out was honestly frightening. There was a complete blockage because huge groups of people were trying to get in while just as many were trying to get out. Everyone ended up squashed together and I could feel myself being crushed. I felt genuinely scared. We were stuck like that for at least twenty minutes with no movement at all, and it was a huge relief when we finally managed to get out safely.
After experiencing that level of stress and worry, we decided to cut Sunday short and leave only two hours after arriving. It was a shame because the music was brilliant, but the crowd management around that stage made the experience really difficult.
