Aintree Grand National的点评
点评：Paid £168 each for tickets to attend the Grand National for my 50th birthday with my wife in the Princess Royal stand and honestly it's was the worst racecourse experience we have ever had (and this was our 31st different course including the Cheltenham festival!). What we were hoping would be an enjoyable day at the races watching one of the greatest sporting events turned out to be an over subscribed, overcrowded debacle. At one point it took us almost 15 minutes to get out of the stand to try and get to the parade ring but ended up missing the horses altogether, far too many people trying to come up and down the stairs, thankfully there was no emergency happening at that point as it could well have been a disaster! We were also stopped at one point from using the lifts (even though we'd already made about 6 or 7 trips up and down the stairs at this point) to save room for less able bodied people although there was nobody less able bodied around trying to get in the lifts! In the end we gave up with our expensive stand and went to some other parts of the course that we could have purchased cheaper tickets for initially as these felt less crowded and safer. I would not recommend attending this event to anyone.
