Coolwater Garden的点评
点评：A friend and I visited Kevin's magical garden at Coolwater, Co Limerick this week. We didn't know quite what to expect. We were given a lovely personal tour. We saw some extremely rare plants that came from all corners of the globe. Each plant came with its own story that was so entertaining to listen to. An ordinary half acre plot has been developed into a wonderful oasis.
Kevin has repurposed so many items and given them a second life. Friends from lots of different countries have given him plants knowing that they will be well loved and looked after.
For me, the best bit was the huge pond he created. There were huge dragonflies zooming about everywhere. He told us that there are plenty of newts and frogs too but they stayed hidden.
I'd highly recommend a visit. It was a very hot day when we went and Kevin got insect repellent and an umbrella to use as a sunshade which was so kind. We also had refreshments at the end. Thanks Kevin. We will be back to visit in a different season.
