点评:This is a beautiful archeological site in the state of Campeche, two and a half hours from Merida, Mexico. We went with friends and explored every nook and cranny and climbed all the pyramids we could. The largest one with the five stories is closed off to climbing. The photo opportunity were amazing and plentiful. The site opens at 8am and we arrived at 9am on a Sunday. All Mexican nationals are free on Sundays and non nationals are around $11. There were decent restrooms at the entrance and a small museum that had tons of information about the culture and timeline of the civilization. There are no vendors and no place to buy refreshments so bring your own water. It took us a little over two hours to explore and take pictures. We did get super hot even though it was October and overcast and we brought hats and I brought a motorized fan. Bring repellent as the mosquitoes are relentless. I highly recommend these ruins.
