Highly recommended tour!
Advantour的点评
点评：We recently toured Azerbaijan, Georgia and Armenia with Advantour and had wonderful experiences. The Iran- US war caused significant issues beforehand, with frequently altered flight dates, and the necessity to adjust hotel bookings. The Caucasus Director Yuyiy was endlessly efficient, flexible and patient throughout the weeks before our departure.
We learnt so much about this region from our guides, especially Salome, who knowledgeably answered our endless questions, and shared her broad knowledge of her country, its culture, religion, language, education and politics with us.
While we were very impressed by the many cathedrals and churches we visited, each worthy of the time taken in getting to them, and learning of their history, we occasionally felt the need to bypass some. We met many very interesting people, and very much enjoyed the hands on and interactive experiences.
Being hosted at a small family winery and spending time with the vigneron, the Stalin Museum, the Heydar Aliyev Historical Museum in Baku, where we could have spent many more hours, the Azerbaijani petroglyphs, exploring Tbilisi, a beautiful historic city, traditional dance and singing there also, and Yerevan, which is a vibrant and charming city with lovely architecture.
A standout and highlight was the several hours we spent with Natalia in her home in Tbilisi, doing a cooking master class. Natalia is one of life's joyous people- she shared her home, her hospitality, her cooking skills and her life experiences with us, with enormous generosity and openness.
I've been recommending this part of the world to everyone I can, and would absolutely recommend Advantour, Yuyiy and his team to arrange your travel experiences.
