An unforgettable Aurora Hunt with GreenGoldNorway
We went on an Aurora Hunt with GreenGoldNorway, and it turned into a truly phenomenal evening.
We started in central Tromsø and drove out into the night, spending nearly three hours navigating heavy, blizzard-like snow. At times it felt like we might have to give up — but our guide, Nicholas, never stopped searching. He constantly checked aurora apps, weather maps, road conditions, and other guide updates, determined to find a clear break.
His persistence paid off. He brought us to an incredible open field where the Northern Lights suddenly appeared in full force. We were able to take the most phenomenal photographs — an experience we’ll never forget.
Nicholas was an exceptional guide: knowledgeable, calm, and completely committed to giving us the best possible chance to see the lights. We returned to Tromsø around 2am, tired but absolutely thrilled.
Huge thanks to Nicholas and GreenGoldNorway for such a magical, unforgettable night. Highly recommended.
