点评：We had the most amazing trip doing the 4 day/3 night Inca Trail with Evolution Treks! They accommodated our 14 person group excellently and made sure that everyone felt supported the entire time. From the porters— who help carry all of the camping equipment, bring fresh tea or coffee to your tent in the morning, and do all of the setup and tear down each day—, to the chef Fernando and assistant chef Frank—who made the most delicious multi-course meals that included fresh vegetables and meats and every day surprised us with what they could whip up on the trail, including an entire cake!—, to the guides Marco and Margot—who kept us laughing even on the steepest stairs and had so much historical and cultural knowledge to share with us—this was truly the best team to guide us along this famous trail.
One of the most important reasons we picked Evolution Treks was because of their commitment to ethical working conditions for the porters, including empowering women to be porters, and we could see this on the trail. I loved getting to meet two young women, Griselda and Wendy, who were completing their first trek as porters and to see that with the good gear and responsible weight limits that Evolution Treks enforces they were enjoying themselves as much as the seasoned porters. You truly won’t regret spending a bit more money on this trek (compared to other companies) in order to be a part of Evolution Trek’s movement to empower women and improve working conditions for all porters.
