Evolution Treks Peru的点评
点评：I did a lot of research before deciding who to book with to experience the classic 4 day Inca trail. Evolution not only had great reviews from people who had walked with them but reviews from the likes of Lonely Planet on their fair worker practices & their empowerment of women at all levels from porters to chefs to guides. I was also more comfortable with the way they split the trek over the 4 days compared to some of the other operators. This is an important thing to check, doing 2 peaks in one day, as some companies do would have been a challenge to far for me! I would also consider the size of the groups each operator has. Evolution has small group sizes which enables you to walk at your own pace rather than a competitive one and means you get lots of focus from your guide.
The trail itself is challenging! But we were well guided by the wonderful Soledad. Expert on the trail, lover of the flora around us, supreme photographer and fixer of everything (even broken water bottles!) She was funny, patient and helped us through every challenge.
The rest of the team were friendly, efficient, professional and without them we couldn't have walked the trail. Delicious hot food (prepared by the always smiling, sometimes singing Sinovia) and cosy tents were ready and waiting for us at lunchtime and when we trooped exhausted into camp every afternoon. The food was excellent and we felt well cared for through the entire experience. Overall, I couldn't recommend Evolution Treks enough.
