点评:Myself and my partner booked to rent paddleboards for a 4 hour session as part of our holiday from the UK.
We arrived at SUPGarda 15 mins before our booking was due to start and found the shed closed and no one around.
5 minutes after our booking was due to have started I tried calling them and messaged them on whatsapp and instagram as is available from their website.
After waiting at the shed for 30 minutes whilst trying to make contact via phonecall a total of 14 times and 4 whatsapp messages with no reply, we left as we did not want to waste any more of our holiday on a no show. This was a shame as we went out of our way to get to Manerba for this experience and had no other reason to go there as there isn't much else here.
27 hours after we should have rented paddleboards, we were contacted by someone from SUPGarda who was apologetic but blamed their system for missing the booking (we booked over a month in advance, in September) and they were now closed for the season, even though on the website it was still possible to make a booking and nothing was mentioned about open/closed dates. They refunded us for the booking quickly and offered us 1 hour free rental for 2 people next year. Although this is not much good to us as we are unlikely to return to Garda anytime soon.
After recieving the refund, we found that the possibility to book had in fact now been removed.
I reccomend booking paddleboards from one of the more proffessional rentals in Riva.
