No Adequate Ski Training – More a Daycare Than a Ski School

点评：We went on a family holiday to Morzine and enrolled our 4-year-old daughter in a one-week Sifflote ski class (2 hours per day, 9:00–11:00). Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing.
The group size was extremely large—around 30 children with only two instructors. Each morning and end it took nearly 30 minutes just to get the children ready, leaving barely one hour of actual skiing time. During that time, the children managed only three to four short descents at most.
If your child does not speak French or English, there is little to no effort made to explain exercises or provide guidance. Throughout the entire week, we received no feedback on our child’s progress. When we raised our concerns with the person in charge, the response was that they were unsure whether children should be “pushed,” which raises the question of the purpose of enrolling them in lessons at all.
There seemed to be very little interest in actually teaching skiing skills. Much of the time, the kids were standing beside the slopes playing in the snow, often without proper supervision, rather than skiing or learning.
Overall, the classes are poorly organised, the groups are far too large, and the instructional quality is lacking. If your goal is for your child to genuinely learn skiing skills, this is a waste of money.
