Fun day, looking forward to returning

点评：Splendid time picking berries, apples, & veggies. Pulled little red wagon all over orchard collecting bounty. Berries were a challenge- picked out & what remained not ripe, but still got a decent haul. Recommend sleeves & pants to avoid thorny scratches as best ones in hard to reach places.
Plenty of apples & varieties. Picked large red & green including a few small of varieties we weren’t familiar with. Basket of hot & bell peppers, but be careful of price trap. All veggies priced same per/# regardless of what it is. Get bunch of hot peppers- pretty reasonable, throw in hefty zucchini & suddenly produce basket is $60.
I justified this over spend by including fact that act of being there & participating was free. No admission or parking fees & we literally made a day of it. That being said, this works out to be much better deal for families w/ children who can soak up free play areas/activities. Things get expensive fast- wagon tally was $130 for 2 pumpkins, box of berries, 1/2 basket of assorted peppers, 2 large zucchini/eggplant.
Hot, fresh, cider doughnuts worth standing in line for- & appreciate the transparency about ingredients. Some fun specialty items in farm shop including local made granolas. While it wasn’t a cheap day out, thoroughly enjoyed myself & left with some great stuff. Can’t wait to return.
