点评：We only had three days in Tana Toraja, and we’re incredibly grateful to have had Luther as our guide. From the start, he helped us create an itinerary that covered all of our must-see sites while also suggesting experiences we hadn’t even considered, like Lombok Cave, which ended up being one of the highlights of our trip.
Traveling as a family of five, we were especially anxious about booking overnight sleeper bus tickets from Makassar, since it wasn’t possible to reserve them online. Luther went above and beyond by securing the tickets in advance, ensuring we all had comfortable sleeper beds.
One of our biggest wishes was to attend a Rambu Solo ceremony, and Luther made it happen. We were able to witness both the buffalo sacrifice and the final procession, an unforgettable and deeply cultural experience.
Throughout the trip, Luther was incredibly accommodating and attentive, making sure we didn’t miss anything on our list. Beyond the major sites, he also gave us a glimpse into everyday Torajan life through scenic hikes across rice fields, bamboo forests, and local villages.
