Sudbury Hall的点评
点评：Every NT property we have visited so far has been very good and Sudbury is no exception.
Plenty of parking next door to a lovely long walk through the surrounding meadows. Lots of picnic benches and a shuttle pickup point.
A 5 minute walk brings you to the hall.
The house has a nice flow and take you through many historic rooms with lovely paintings and furniture. Every room tells a story and you can imagine how it was used over the centuries.
The visit takes you through the first and second floor and then down into the basement.
As usual, the volunteers are very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Particularly the lady who told us about when the Lord split the main bedroom in two and also showed us the 'mystery portrait'.
The grounds are well maintained and the lake is picturesque with ducks, swans and geese.
Cafe is nice and clean with quick service.
The toy museum is really good and has plenty of interactive exhibits. There is a lift too.
