Women Belong in Rally! My 5-Day Experience at Team O'Neil

点评：Women can rally race! We need more representation in this sport, and Team O'Neil Rally School is absolutely the place to start.
I’ll admit I was intimidated at first. Rally is such a male-dominated sport, but the team here made me feel comfortable from the second I stepped into the classroom. I wasn't trained based on my gender; I was trained based on my skill.
The instructors were incredibly patient and encouraged me to test my limits while making sure I was having a blast.
I just finished the 5-day course, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. While any amount of time here is amazing, the 5-day curriculum really allowed me to level up my skills across different drivetrains and technical terrain.
The teaching format is perfect for building confidence:
Theory: You learn the "why" of car control in the classroom.
Demos: You see techniques performed slowly, then at full speed.
Action: Once you're behind the wheel, instructors provide real-time guidance that helps you improve with every single run.
This truly was a dream come true. My driving skills have increased so much, and I learned in a completely inclusive, equal environment. If you’re a woman thinking about trying this, don’t hesitate. It is a ton of fun and you’ll walk away a much more confident driver!
