Negative Golf experience due to marshal “Malcolm B”

点评：Very disappointed with the treatment from the Marshall. He is called “Malcolm B”.
My son and myself have been there a few times now. I was considering getting him a membership. I will not be signing him up after the treatment we had today.
Previously Malcolm was very rude when I had Parked my 2-wheel golf trolley on the edge of the Tee area. Rather than just explaining this was not allowed, it felt like he was being very harsh and abrupt.
Today after the first 9-holes, my son and I stopped for a drink and snack, stopped for a max of 3 minutes, there was no one waiting behind us. As my son was teeing up, Malcolm drove up to us in his cart having a go at us for holding up play, being very rude and intense. This upset my son and ruined the rest of our round.
As we were setting off after our tee shot the guys behind us caught up and made a point to say sorry and to ignore the marshal and that they will also be stopping for a break now as it was a warm day. He said the marshal told my son and myself to “get their ass into gear”. The Guy behind made a point in saying we had not slowed them down at all and they hope we have a good game. Pity the marshal didn’t have the same attitude.
I got Malcolm’s name from the Pro shop and explained what happened, the person in the shop was very apologetic and explained this is not the first complaint and that he is renowned for his bad attitude towards players.
I would not recommend this place for newbies in the game, nor children looking to get into the game.

我们开球后正准备起步时，后面的人追了上来，特意向我们道歉，并表示他们无视球场管理员，因为天气暖和，他们也要停下来休息一下。他说管理员催促我和我儿子“赶紧走”。后面的人强调说我们根本没耽误他们，希望我们打得好。可惜管理员的态度可不一样。
我从高尔夫用品店打听到了马尔科姆的名字，并解释了事情经过。店员非常抱歉，解释说这已经不是第一次有人投诉他了，而且他对待球员的态度出了名的恶劣。
我不建议新手或者想入门的孩子来这里打球。
