Cirencester Park的点评
点评：Visited the park to meet family and planned to walk and have lunch. The parking is £3 for 4 hours which is not bad however the park was £4 per adult. For that you get a paper map and that's it. Once inside there is virtually no signage other than about 100 signs saying no dogs last here. We didn't have a dog, we were only looking for signs to follow the supposed walking trail.
The park looks completely run down. Plastic tape and barriers up everywhere. Trees along the main path looked like they'd just been hacked off and left as stumps. Areas of rough tough being refurbished apparently.
We took a path through the woods which was slightly prettier being in the trees. One path completely impassable as so muddy. It wasn't at all clear which paths were paved etc. We managed to navigate with OS maps app and the paper map was no good with the lack of signs. We eventually got back to the old kennels and had a nice lunch at the cafe which is not part of the estate. There are absolutely no benches apart from the carved pope bench or whatever it was. Not great when elderly parents need a break and sit down . No toilets that I saw although as we ate in the cafe we were ok.
I would have been disappointed even if I hadn't paid so even more so they think they can charge money for this rubbish.
