点评：This beach is literally in the middle of nowhere — like, if you forget snacks, that’s on you. Car park charges apply unless you’re a National Trust member, but even then you’ve gotta download an app to prove it, which feels very “modern problems require modern annoyances”.
There’s a toilet block in the car park (functional, not cute) and an ice cream van that’s definitely charging “tourist tax” prices.
The beach itself is split into dog/no‑dog zones, but honestly no one seemed to care. Zero ramps that we could spot, so wheelchairs and prams are gonna struggle.
If you’re here for fossils, go at low tide. Head down the “no dogs” steps, turn left, and wander towards the rocks. Anything around 40–60cm wide with three prong‑looking bits might be a fossil.
The beach is a chaotic mix of sand, rocks, and clay — not the soft, sandy Insta aesthetic, but it has its own rugged charm.
