Beautiful traditional Greek beach

点评：Every beach on Ithaca looks very similar, they all have white pebbles , beautiful clear water that is the most amazing colour, but some beaches have different vibes to others. This beach is old style traditional Greece. It doesn’t have music playing, it doesn’t have a glamorous restaurant or waiter service at the sunbeds, but what it does have is peace and serenity.
It has a very hard working self styled ‘Beach Manager’ who is welcoming, and determined to keep the beach clean and everything running smoothly.
He has a few paddle boards and canoes to hire, and always has time to have a little chat with everyone. After our first visit, on our return (two days later) he greeted us by name and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed.
There is a small cafe, serving basic fare, Greek salad, tzatziki and the most delicious souvlaki, and for mid morning iced coffees. Let’s face it, what more do you need?
If you travel to Ithaca, don’t miss this place, it’s gorgeous!
