The representative first messaged to say he would be ten minutes late due to a traffic diversion. He eventually arrived about twenty-five minutes late, led us to a smart-looking van and loaded our bags. Just before leaving, he received a call from his office and argued loudly for several minutes. He then asked us to get out of the van, saying he had been assigned to another duty and would arrange a different car for us.
We were then made to walk a long way through the car park with our bags in the heat, almost back to where we had started, while he stayed on the phone. In the end, he put us in a Bolt taxi, which we could easily have booked ourselves.
We lost almost an hour because of poor organisation and this was not even peak season. A private transfer should remove hassle, not create it. We would not use Drifter again.
