Good fun, but really expensive for short drive time and really beaten up cars

点评：I’ve done this a couple of times - organisation has been good. If you get a morning slot it’s way quieter so smaller wait times and they seemed able to adapt well to keep everyone moving without too much hanging around. Some instructors definitely better than others, it’s a bit of a case of luck of the draw as to how much guidance you get.
Two areas massively let it down - poor condition of the cars and such limited time driving in relation to the cost. The advertised price seems ok, then you pay extra to do a lap showing you the circuit, extra for insurance, extra for certain circuits, extra to do it on a weekend - the list goes on. When you arrive they are then constantly pushing photo packages, upgrades to other cars, high speed ride, extra laps, and as others have said, drive time is really short relative to the cost.
The thing I was most surprised and disappointed with is the really poor condition of the cars. Most of them look fine from the outside but the interiors on all four cars I’ve driven have been shockingly bad! I don’t know where they find these cars but as others have mentioned - broken buttons, dials not working, warning lights everywhere, smashed up centre consoles - all of them have been absolutely knackered internally, and it does take the edge off the experience. When you pay to spend 5 minutes driving a DB9 or F Type for example it kills the mood a bit to get in and find it an absolute state. They’ve not even been tidied, let alone cleaned or repaired.
It’s fun and it’s a great chance to open the taps on these cars you might not otherwise drive, but the short drive times, constant upselling and really scruffy vehicle interiors let it down.
