Best Pinot Noir of our wine road trip. Enchanting wine tasting experience.

点评：During our 3rd annual WA/OR wine road trip, among pinot noirs we found Bells Up 2017 Villanelle Reserve to be our unanimous favorite, and agreed that this small winery's pinot noir lineup ranked among the best.
We three had a 2 hour wine tasting with David on a sunny day in August. This was our first visit.
WINES: 5.0. We enjoyed the wines, especially the 2017 Villanelle Reserve pinot noir and the 2021 Jupiter pinot noir. We purchased 4 bottles of wine to take home; we look forward to tasting them outside the warm, seductive ambiance of our winery visit.
SERVICE: 5.0. David, the owner, patiently answered our questions as he guided our 2 hour experience on an outside veranda overlooking a vineyard. We learned new things about wines (both in general and the Bells Up selection in particular), the naming of the Bells Up winery and of its wines as related to music, and more.
AMBIANCE: 4.5. Attractive setting. Our private tasting on the outside veranda was enchanting. Though the sound of a leaf blower at a neighboring property was a minor distraction during the first few minutes, the music of the wines effortlessly drowned it out; the leaf blowing ended soon after our arrival in any case.
