点评：On our recent holiday to Funchal we booked the Santana tour which is a full day tour of the East of Madeira. We booked this through our Jet2 rep, who use Windsor travel. We were picked up promptly outside our hotel at 9.20 am & were dropped off home at 5pm, our driver was Nuno who was friendly, very knowledgeable & interesting. There were only 3 couples in our minibus so we got to ask all the questions we wanted. The tour was so interesting & enjoyable. We stopped to see the bay at Machico, then to some beautiful high cliffs at the extreme East of the island. We then drove up to Eagle rock & Santa Cruz, we went to a sugar cane rum distillery where they used old machinery, we had a small taste of rum, then free time to watch the surfers etc. We drove on to the other side of Eagle rock with more stunning views ( & lots of lizards on the wall !) Then onto the highlight of our day Santana. We had plenty of time to look at the colourful traditional houses & to get some lunch. Then we headed into the high mountain area, to Ribiero Frio with forests & the start of a levada walk. Our last stop was to Pico de Ariero, the 2nd highest peak on Madeira, it should have been amazing views above the clouds but unfortunately the freezing fog had come down so we couldn't see anything !! Which wasn't anyone's fault. Then Nuno drove us back down to Funchal. We learnt so much about Madeira on the tour & enjoyed it very much, the best day of ours holiday.
翻译：最近我们去丰沙尔度假，预订了桑塔纳一日游，这是一趟马德拉岛东部的全天游。我们是通过Jet2的旅行社代表预订的，他们使用温莎旅行社的服务。早上9点20分，我们准时在酒店门口被接走，下午5点送我们回家。我们的司机努诺非常友好、博学且风趣。我们的小巴上只有三对夫妇，所以我们可以问所有想问的问题。这次旅行非常有趣，也很愉快。我们先在马奇科湾停留，然后去了岛最东端一些美丽的悬崖。之后，我们驱车前往鹰岩和圣克鲁斯，参观了一个使用老式机器的甘蔗朗姆酒酿酒厂，品尝了一小口朗姆酒，然后是自由活动时间，可以观看冲浪者等等。我们继续驱车前往鹰岩的另一侧，欣赏更加壮丽的景色（岩壁上还有很多蜥蜴！）。接下来就是我们当天行程的重头戏——桑塔纳之旅。我们有充足的时间欣赏色彩缤纷的传统房屋，并享用午餐。之后，我们前往高山地区，来到里贝罗弗里奥（Ribiero Frio），那里森林茂密，也是水渠步道的起点。我们的最后一站是马德拉岛第二高峰阿里埃罗峰（Pico de Ariero），原本应该可以欣赏到云层之上的壮丽景色，可惜天公不作美，浓雾弥漫，我们什么也看不见！当然，这也不能怪任何人。之后，努诺开车送我们返回丰沙尔。这次旅行让我们对马德拉岛有了更深入的了解，也让我们玩得非常开心，这是我们假期中最美好的一天。
