Our over view of this amazing little centre
Hemsley Conservation Centre的点评
点评：This is a great little conservation centre, perfect for families with young children and those interested in somewhere that isn’t big and commercial.
This was our first visit and was a cold December day. We hadn’t expected to see all the animals as realistically we knew some animals would be hiding. However, we did get to see many of those that are looked after here.
In our party was a 2 year old who loved to kick the small stones of the pathway…! And occasionally look at the animals, two adults and a Senior citizen…. We thought we’d help her by taking a wheelchair but whilst it did enable her to get about the pathways were not always easy to navigate. Maybe the only thing we’d say that could be improved was the pathways.
The enclosures were in keeping with expectations ( not big commercial types which whilst good sometimes lack a personal interaction ) but will probably improve over the years to come anyway.
You are encouraged to walk around and then have a break in the cafe then repeat your tour…. A good idea so you get to see more animals.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The cafe has definitely got it right by restricting the menu so they can concentrate on providing a good service.
