Pole Pole to the Summit — Lemosho Route with Bestday

点评：I climbed Kilimanjaro via the Lemosho route from February 21 to 28, 2026 with Bestday Safaris. Our full group had 15 people, and I was hiking with my own group of friends — 6 of us within the larger team.
Our guide, Bony, made a very strong impression: experienced, attentive, calm, and always quick to respond to any request or question. He made us feel both safe and comfortable, and he was also great to talk to along the way.
I also want to mention the excellent organization and the very tasty food throughout the trek. On the mountain, that is not a small detail — it is serious morale support.
One phrase that stayed with us was the Swahili expression “Pole pole” — patiently, step by step, at your own pace, because that is how you climb a mountain. It perfectly captured the spirit of the whole journey.
