点评:An impressive building in the centre of Copenhagen, the City Hall was deigned by Martin Nyrop and was opened in 1905. Not only did he design the building but also the interior fittings and fixtures, furniture, in fact everything down to the doorknobs and keyholes!
As you enter through the central door, a little gift shop and information desk are on the left; book your tour of the building here as it is well worth the money! On the opposite side of the foyer, is the Jens Olsen's World Clock - curious but quite magnificent! (If you don't want to take the tour, you can wander around on your own but you won't see some of the rooms which are not open to the public!) You can also book to go up the tower as well.
You visit the council chamber, meeting rooms and a very large banqueting hall plus various other rooms and staircases, too many to mention here. You can then wander around on your own.
