点评：Was excited to go here on my birthday on a Saturday night.
The security guard was very friendly and chatty- appreciated
The bar staff, however, killed the mood for me cause my group of friends to leave.
The event, which was fairly empty, was advertised as drinks from £4. As i hadn’t been there before I naturally asked for a menu. The bar maid, made me the wrong drink twice, first time i asked for a rum mixer coke/ ‘cola’ she gave me off tasting carbonated water and schnapps. She, with an attitude, that was not mutual; over charged all of my friends and when I asked about whether it should have been £4 (correctly) She was very arrogant going forward.
Asked for a managers help who had corrected the problem she had made on the till, and dumped my drink to me. As i didn’t want to cause a bigger issue i had apologised and said it’s okay just leave the drink thank you.
I myself have worked in customer service in many different sectors, So i understand partially but i wasn’t being rude, reciprocal or you’re ‘typical difficult customer’. Just genuinely speaking up for myself after receiving the wrong order completely, after the first time not commenting on it.
So I think some reevaluation, maybe on the alt rock community too, will help you.
The potential this alt rock night has is 10/10. The reality of my personal experience was 3/10.
