Locke Park的点评
点评：We have been visitors to Locke Park in Redcar for over 70 years and it is disappointing to see it slowly falling into its current state. Muddy footpaths, not helped by Council Transit pickups having trouble manoeuvring around corners, running onto the grass and dragging mud onto the paths. The small team of gardeners are struggling to keep everything in a tidy state. The only toilet block is in disgraceful condition. It looks a health hazard and I would advise folk not to even open the door,
The café is in a poor state of repair. The outside seating area when we visited was dirty, no tables being cleaned and we only got a clean one by asking the staff. The coffee we ordered was like coloured sweet water and we both left it with more than half a cup remaining.
It’s a shame to see how run down the park is now compared to how it used to be.
Visit Ropner Park in Stockton to see how with a little more effort the park could be.
