点评：We took the metro from Ambando in Bilbao to Algorta, wandering through the town, we stumbled on the way down to the beach. Amazing array of old houses where locals were talking to each other through their windows. It was charming and took you to the old fishing port. There were several bars on the way down. It was a level day so we decided to walk towards the Bizkaia Bridge, some 3k from the tourist office where the excellent lady provided good information and a map. On the way you see loads of old buildings and there are information boards on the route (English Spanish Basque). We eventually got to the bridge. We caught the metro back from Areeta. Our return trip cost €4 each compared to what the organised trips were charging. Give it a go , lovely different side of Bilbao.
