点评:The statues were kind of cool, in the sense that you would see them quite clearly as you drove in, but when you are right in front of them, you'll realise how huge they are. Absolutely amazing! I was so mesmerised but the traditional wear and somehow the artist managed to make the status look very poised and charming, you could almost feel the pride and royalty of the kings, just staring at them.
What was most surprising was the sheer size of the park, that had nothing.... The main attraction was the statues and there was just a really small museum and some souvenir shops. Other than that, it was just sheer park ground (not the sort where you could take a scenic walk or ride). I was so baffled. I guess, when you have the luxury of land area, this is what you do. Oh yes, admission is free! You can drive/take a taxi in and change to the free shuttle service (with a guide and explanations, but in Thai) which will take you up close to the statues. All FOC.
