Good way to hit a bunch of natural areas in a long day...or two
Creole Nature Trail Adventure Point的点评
点评：I stooped at the Creole Nature Trail Adventure point before I headed out to check out the stops along the trail. This trip was in mid-April. The adventure point is worth the stop. They have a few displays, restrooms, and better maps than what you can print out on your computer.
The staff is very friendly, asked about my interests and then marked up suggested stops on the map for me. They let me know to have cash for the ferry and gave some suggestions on where I could stop to eat. Most importantly...they keep an eye on issue on the route. There was a major accident that had the western part of the route closed for hours. Had I gone that way I would have sat in traffic for hours. They had me go clockwise around the map and everything was cleared up by the time I got there.
Great drive, especially for birds and gators. The wetlands did seem very dry...but not sure if that is a seasonal thing.
