点评：It’s frustrating to see how libraries have lost their sense of purpose over time. They used to be places for studying, reading, and quiet focus, but now they barely resemble what they once were.
I went to Bob Prittie Library, normally not my go-to branch, only to be met with an infuriating experience. I had barely sat down for two minutes in the computer area to charge my phone when a librarian told me to leave, claiming someone needed the computer. Meanwhile, I could see people taking up study tables for hours, some even sleeping, and nothing was said to them. If you're going to enforce a policy, enforce it equally!
I confronted the librarian about the blatant unfairness, because if rules exist, they should apply to everyone, not just selectively when it's convenient. It’s absurd that people can leave their belongings on study tables for hours to claim their spot while others actually need the space. If they can't add more computers due to space limitations, then at least implement time limits for tables and workstations.
Libraries are meant for shared use, not as makeshift bedrooms or private lounges. If they want to maintain order, they need a system that actually works instead of arbitrary enforcement.
