Bike, Sip, Repeat: A Tasting Room Worth the Ride

点评：My husband and I took a quick trip to Greenville and decided to take the bikes and ride the Swamp Rabbit Trail from Downtown Greenville to Traveler's Rest. The ride was long but worth it to end up in Traveler's Rest. We walked through the town, visited the shops, and ended up at the Tasting Room right as the doors were opening at 11:00 am.
The pictures and reviews here are outdated! The Tasting Room has new owners, Michelle and her husband who have remodeled the place- it is light, bright and airy- nothing like the picture we saw on Trip Advisor when we scoped it out. There is a well decorated private room that would be perfect for a work night out, bridal shower, bachelor party, etc. Charcuterie snacks and artisanal chocolates are offered for some light bites to accompany your beer and wine.
The new, more modern aesthetic reflects the choices of beers on tap- a yummy mango ale, a limey sour, and my husband's favorite, painted black pilsner from New Groove Brewery. The wine selection was top notch and my wine flight was really good. Michelle has great taste and put together an amazing selection of wines including a sparkling moscato and a dolcetto red that was sooo good: and for just $18.00, the price was right too.
