点评：Good trip. We arrived at approximately 3 pm and made our way towards the entrance of the visitor center. There were several informational plaques scattered throughout the visitor center that gave us some insight about what the environment looked like thousands of years ago. There were also several artifacts out for display. After viewing the visitor center we made our way outside. We opted to hike three different trails in the park, the Barrett’s Rim Trail, the Etawah Woods Trail and the Valley of the Ancients Trail. The trails ranged from 0.4 mile to 2.0 mile loop trails around the park. The trails were moderate in nature and consisted of walking on a dirt surface for a majority of the walk. There were several sections of steep incline/decline, along with several staircases that we had to climb. The trail took us through the forest and we were able to enjoy scenic views of several different rock formations along with a cave.
Tip: I recommend spending 2 hours here if you truly want to see everything.
