点评：When in Quebec City, a visit to the Island (Ile d'Orléans) is absolutely necessary. Once you get to the Island, make a left off the bridge and go about 1/4 - 1/2 mile until you get to this sweet little gem on the left. We got there as they opened and we so glad we did because it was PACKED. Beautiful views of the River from the terrasse. The food and beverage are spectacular. Everything has a hint of blackcurrant in it. Even the poutine has cassis gravy. Sangria, wine, ice cream, chicken dipping sauce...they all have cassis in the recipes. Once you're done eating, go downstairs and out back where there is a small museum and a boutique where you can purchase everything from cassis vinegar to their delectable sangria...everything made with blackcurrant. The staff is lovely. Pick up a tote bag as well so you can show everyone your amazing haul from this place. Definitely a recommendation and we will most certainly be returning the next time we're in Quebec City.
