点评:The vineyard is beautiful, and the outdoor area is dog-friendly, but the setup is extremely inconvenient if you’ve never visited before. Wine “tastings” are not permitted outdoors, while dogs are not allowed inside. The staff graciously offered to explain the wines so we could choose something to enjoy outside, but wine is only sold by the bottle—not by the glass.
We travel frequently with our well-behaved dogs and have visited more than 30 vineyards, but this was the first time we encountered a policy like this. It’s difficult to justify purchasing an entire bottle when you haven’t had an opportunity to taste any of the wines.
The staff was very nice, and the scenery was beautiful enough that we could have easily spent the entire day there. Unfortunately, the conflicting policies left us with no practical option, so we left without purchasing anything. If you’re traveling without animals or would be willing to purchase a bottle without tasting it first, I would recommend visiting. Again, it was very beautiful and the staff was polite, it just didn’t work out for our situation.
