点评：Our family very much enjoyed our kayaking adventure. To be honest, the guy that owns the business is pretty strange. He called me at 8am telling me I was late and was kind of rude on the phone. We were staying over an hour away and were on the way already, plus it’s an all day rental. He was definitely judging us when we got there and made it seem like we weren’t going to survive out there, but we had a great time!
The paddle from the launch to Captain Cook is about 20min straight there or longer if you go along the coast. Go along the coast to see manta rays! We didn’t see dolphins but we heard you could. We stopped and snorkeled on the way and then when we got to captain cook. Great snorkeling. Mind you, you can’t dock ashore at all so you have to be able to pull yourself in and out of your kayak. You are provided with a pretty big dry bag from the company which was very nice. You also got life jackets which was kind of nice for snorkeling to stay afloat and roam about without working too hard. We were only out for 2.5hrs but felt like a whole day! Very fun experience. The dockhand was very polite and got all of our kayaks in and out for us. Would go again and recommend. It was also the cheapest rental I could find, so I guess you have to deal with the owner’s attitude for that which I’m okay with.
