A Charming Riverside Café With Far Better Food Than I Expected

点评：This is a really lovely little café situated right on the edge of the river, and its location alone makes it worth seeking out. The setting is genuinely picturesque, offering not only peaceful views of the water but also a perfect vantage point for the viaduct. If you enjoy photography, you can get some brilliant shots of the train coming across — it’s one of those simple pleasures that adds a bit of magic to the visit.
I’ll admit I went in slightly wary that it might turn out to be one of those classic tourist traps where you pay over the odds for very average food purely because of the view. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was genuinely lovely, very much up to scratch, and the prices were completely normal — no inflated “scenic location” markup, which was refreshing.
All in all, it’s well worth a visit. The combination of good food, fair prices, and such a charming riverside setting makes it a spot I’d happily return to.
