Amazing visit to see the red kites

点评：What an amazing visit we had yesterday with our two grandchildren who are 7 and 9. We first did the twenty loop walk which was lovely. The walk was user friendly and you could easily push a biggie or wheelchair as it was a solid surface. Just bear in mind it is a little hilly….
We then went back to the wee cafe and had juice and cake which was very reasonably priced too. Four cans of juice, two boxes of Pringles and two slices of cake all for £15….
We then went out to the observation deck to watch the red kites being fed. There were over hundred of these birds in the sky circling around waiting to be fed.
When the gentleman entered the field and started throwing the food into the grass the birds started flying down and picking up the food….. it was an amazing sight. The gentleman then placed lots of food on a table and the birds swooping in to pick up the food in their claws before flying off again. It really was a sight to see…..
Our grandchildren absolutely loved seeing these magnificent birds up close.
It cost us £7.50 each to get in but children under 16 are free of charge.

我们的孙辈们非常喜欢近距离观赏这些美丽的鸟儿。
门票每人7.5英镑，16岁以下儿童免费。
我们都度过了一段美好的时光。
