A Warm Welcome and an Excellent Wine Tasting

点评：We really enjoyed our tasting at Klados Winery. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm and welcoming. One of the staff members actually came out to the parking lot to greet us, showed us where the bathrooms were in case we wanted to use them first, and then directed us up to the terrace.
We tasted six wines (whites, roses and reds), and each one was explained as it was served. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very engaged, and we learned a lot without the experience ever feeling formal or rushed.
We ordered the dakos accompaniment with rusk and tomatoes, which paired nicely with the tasting. There was also a cheese option available for a little extra.
The winery was busy, but in a good way. People were clearly enjoying themselves, and the terrace had a relaxed atmosphere. We did not stay for the winery tour afterward, although we were invited to join, and the rest of the group headed off to walk around the grounds and learn more.
Our favourite wine was White Diva, made from the Vidiano grape, a variety that was rescued from near extinction and brought back into cultivation. We enjoyed it enough to bring two bottles home. Overall, this was a friendly, informative and very enjoyable stop, and we would happily recommend the tasting to anyone visiting the area.
