点评：My inquiry to Barry asked to see his Cornwall, not necessarily the BBC version. It is clear from many other reviews that he can show you the Cornwall of television and film. But if you want to see Cornwall through his eyes, ask him about the miners at Geevor, and see in his eyes the pride he has in the courage of those men.
Ask him how to split slate. Ask him what it is like to rebuild the timber framework of a roof and then slate it, knowing that roof will outlive you by a hundred years. Ask him what it was like to fish with his father, and visit with him the still-functioning fishing village of Cadgwith.
Barry loves Cornwall and takes enormous pride in its history and its contributions to the world. There is no better way to see a land than through the eyes of someone who loves it.
