Great golf course tarnished by the Director of Golf's attitude

点评：We played both the Warren course and the Championship course in one day. Warren course was about what we'd expect for £40, very solid but nothing to write home about and a great warmup for the Championship course in the afternoon. This was truly excellent, and very fairly priced at £160 on a Saturday in June. It was maintained in great condition and we all really enjoyed it.
However, our experience was somewhat tarnished by the rudeness of James, the Director of Golf on site. He was unkind and made us feel very unwelcome, and having watched a couple of our group hit poor shots began questioning me if everyone had valid handicaps (we all have handicaps of 20 and under) and if we'd manage to maintain pace of play (we actually were held up behind groups in front rather than holding up anyone behind us). Even the best players can hit bad shots from time to time, and having looked forwards to this day out for quite some time it was really disappointing. James acted like he was doing us a favour allowing us on the course. when in reality our group provided close to £1,100 of business to the club in one day, and we were nothing but respectful to the course and all other members we encountered.
Despite the course being brilliant, James' attitude will likely prevent us from wanting to come back any time soon - a real shame.
