Will not be back! Staff great but very poor management

点评：We asked for water as we had been drinking for a while and wanted to sober up before driving home. We did not want to put our lives or others at risk. We had been to other places in area, had drinks, and free water.
Here we paid $2.50 a bottle and asked for tap which was refused. We explained to server who was amazing we wanted tap, not bottle, she stated management would not allow.
I went up to bar and asked to speak to management and was told manager was out front with ball cap on. I went outside and politely asked him why would they not allow free water for patrons to help them sober up, “wasn’t drunk but always try to drink 8oz water with every drink” he stated they do offer free water IF server asked manager. He then comes to table and if intoxicated will give free water.
This manager accused me of being aggressive and refused to give his name. I asked if he was the owner and he told me that was non of my business.
He told us he didn’t care if he lost our business or anyone else’s. He refused to give his name when I asked. The server and bartender had no issues with giving name but stated they had no control over what management did but agreed that they should be able to give water to people.
We spent a lot of money at this place and enjoyed ourselves but unfortunately due to the manager we will not be back. We had a lot of witnesses to the conversation as the manager was very rude. As we were walking away we had several people come and say to us that they couldn’t believe the managers attitude.
I explained to the manager that I was not trying to cause problems but felt that drinking establishments should provide free water to the patrons. He once again stated they would if the staff notified management. I tried to explain to him that not only did I ask the server but also bartender and was told repeatedly that I could only purchase bottled water.
The place would be a lot of fun but I hope the manager is replaced. He’s disrespectful and obviously doesn’t care about the community. Yes, I admit I was drinking but I also stop at a point and start drinking water which the prior establishment provided for free. This manager was rude, accused me of being disrespectful and threatened to call the cops when there was witnesses that were shocked by his behavior and followed us in supper when we left, and told us he didn’t care what we thought.
I sincerely hope the owner reads this because the staff were amazing, music good, but manager terrible! No respect and accuses patrons of being aggressive when no voices were raised, no confrontation, trying to express that we are locals and support local businesses but he staid he didn’t care! I have never experienced this.
