Dwan Light Sanctuary的点评
点评：The Dwan Light Sanctuary on the campus of United World College is a must-see if you are in the area. We drove from Santa Fe, which is about 75 minutes away.
The online instructions say that you need to stop at the college’s welcome center to get an access key. (TIP: You’ll need to exchange your driver’s license for the key card.) We didn’t see the welcome center and couldn’t find an online college map, but easily found the sanctuary and saw that the 5-space parking lot was full. (TIP: Know in advance where the welcome center is located.) We parked in a lot a little farther downhill and met up with a very nice couple from Albuquerque who were also planning to visit. We knocked on the door several times, but got no response. The other couple told us that they would go to the welcome center for the key, and that we could enter with them. Our Albuquerque friends came back and told us that all the keys had been given out, so they would wait until someone left and then go back and get that person’s key. Finally, someone left and the Albuquerque folks went to retrieve the key card.
The sanctuary is so beautiful - windows and white walls create a light-filled space. Prisms on the windows cast rainbows on the walls and on the floor.
Our experience wasn’t the peaceful time I had envisioned. Maybe it was the heat (waiting outside on a very warm day, and no air conditioning in the sanctuary) or maybe it was the long drive or the confusion and wait to enter. Or maybe it was the man sleeping at the center of the sanctuary. Anyway, I highly recommend a visit, but I hope your experience is better than ours.

这座圣所真是美极了——窗户与白色的墙壁营造出一个光线充足的空间。窗户上的棱镜将彩虹投射在墙壁和地板上。
我们的体验并不像我想象中那样宁静祥和。也许是因为天气太热了吧（在一个非常暖和的日子里，我们只能在外面等待）。（而且圣殿里没有空调）或许是漫长的车程，或是进入时的混乱与等待造成的吧。又或许是那个在圣殿中央睡觉的男子所致。不管怎样，我强烈推荐大家去参观，只希望你们的体验能比我们好一些。
