点评：With its sister attraction in Orlando's Magic Kingdom park, the California outpost is nearly identical. The only thing different between the two rides is the queue area, which is far more elaborate in Florida. But who cares about the line? It's all about the ride, and this fun little ride through attraction is great for fans of "The Little Mermaid."
You board giant clam shell ride vehicles for a slow moving dark ride through vignettes that tell the story of the movie. It's colorful, relaxing, and features the most popular songs from Disney's animated classic. Disney bills it as a "musical journey," which is pretty accurate. It's not scary at all, but little ones who are super sensitive may be spooked by the Ursula and eels scene, with their menacing teeth and darker lighting. Otherwise, this is a joyful and fun ride that will put a smile on your face.
Sebastian, Flounder, Ariel, and Prince Eric are all here in animatronic form. The ride is more classic Disney style versus cutting edge, but there are a few projections that add a bit of modernity to it. This is a new yet old school attraction. The best vignette is the "Under the Sea" part of the ride, with fish and sea creatures getting their grooves on. I always sing and dance along when the ride hits that part, as do many other park guests.
Note that this ride operates on a continuously moving track (like Haunted Mansion), so wait times are usually shorter than other rides in the park. It can get crowded, but don't wait longer than 10 minutes for this. Just come back later and it'll almost always be walk on.
Although cartoonish and surprisingly old school, Ariel's Undersea Adventure gets you immersed in the story. It's not a show stopping spectacle of craft and technology, but it delivers a catchy and upbeat ride that's great for kids and adults alike!
