点评:I think early June was still a bit early for this hike. Part of that is because we had no spikes for our shoes and there was still a lot of snow on the trail. Trail? there was enough snow you had trouble finding the trail part of the time. However, there were a number of people on the trail. At one point some of the people missed a turn in the trail and went 100 yards to far and had to come back to get the trail to the tea house. One lady tried to take a shortcut to get to the original trail, slipped and fell into about 8-10" of freezing water in a creek, so be very careful. At one point, if you looked quite high up the mountain, you got to see some mountain goats, including a baby that you could hardly see, (Picture 3). At this time of year, you need to be in pretty good shape as you feel you are walking over small glaciers, lots of ice and snow. My wife and I would do this hike again, BUT we would get some spikes for the bottom of our shoe.
